What would a spy store and a spy hotel be like?

I’m writing a story about a bunch of teenage spies who go to a spy academy/boarding school. They need to buy there supplies somewhere â€" what would a spy street with lots of spy stores be like?

Plus, I need ideas for a spy hotel. What would they be like? Thanks!

The 'Evergreen' Hotel in Barcelona

The American Hotel in Paris

The Hotel Suisse in Dortmund

The Truco Hotel in Amsterdam>>>>>all small with bar/restaurant on the 2nd floor which is the main floor...small rooms...no elevator...narrow staircase to 3rd, 4th and in two instances a 5th floor..fire escape exits at every floor...rooftop exit to escape routes across ajoining building roofs...rarely more than 3 staff on duty at any time...sign-in at the bar...only 4 rooms per floor ...communal bathing & toilet facilities on every floor...only a sink in the room ...no windows in any of the rooms...

As for spy supplies picture a mix of electronics and hardware type shops book shops and computer cafe's = communications
