If I take a train to the Grand Central Station, is it too long a walk from there to the hotel? Is it too long a walk if I'm dragging a suitcase? Should I simply take a cab instead?
Take the M60 bus to Hoyt Avenue and 31st Street (this is 31st Street in Queens not Manhattan) then get on the downtown N train and take that to Lexington Avenue and 59th Street then take the downtown 6 train to 33rd Street.
DO NOT PATRONIZE THAT HOTEL, THERE HAS BEEN A HUGE STRIKE, PICKETING LINE AND ALL OUTSIDE FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS, THEY TREAT THEIR EMPLOYEES LIKE CRAP AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE A QUIET OR PLEASANT TRIP. TAKE A CAB FROM LAGUARDIA PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION WILL BE TOO DIFFICULT, STANDARD RATE IS 45 PLUS TIP AND TOLL.
