Which hotel is better, the Hard Rock Hotel or the Portofino Bay Hotel in Orlando?

At universal stuidos, in orlando, Which rooms are better, what would you prefer, and why? I know the portofino bay is "classier" But what's so good about either of them. Please explain why you'd choose the hotel that you did. Money isn't something I have to worry about, since they're both within 10 dollars difference of each other.

WEll what's good about portofino is the scenery which is absolutly beautiful and the beds are so comfy! i also love there pools they have 2 different ones and have restaurants on site the people are also very nice. i also like the evening singing the people sing in the court yard and have absolutely gorgeous voices

At hard rock i like the atmosphere and they remodeled so the rooms are wonderfully decorated. i also think the pool is very cool because if you go underwater you can hear music playing and it's extremely close to universal studios

I personally prefer portofino because i feel more relaxed there and i also feel like i don't have to worry about what i eat because it is very distant from the parks which is another bonus because you don't have to here them testing rides at 6 in the morning

if you don't wish to stay there my second choice is royal pacific even though it's not on your list because it is so much closer to everythin and the service is great. it's also cheaper

Also, the Portofino is a higher rated hotel!

Portofino was unreal....you can get the hard rock ambiance just by visiting the public spaces, like we did...but for sheer elegance and opulence...you'll fall in love with the Portofino...hands down...

I like the Portofino Bay...The Hard Rock seems to be slipping a little with slower service than in the past.
