How old do you have to be to rent a hotel room in Vancouver?

just wondering. was hoping to stay in a hotel downtown, but i might just have to go to the hostel or somewhere else instead. thank you

Yeah It's definetly 18.

I think it's 18 but I know when my son wanted to rent a room downtown, he couldn't without having a visa card, which they "held" at the front desk until checkout. I guess this was in case they did any damage to the room.

In the USA 18 Canada the same...
