What do YOU want to see in your hotel minibar in the future?

We are changing around the minibar menu at a huge hotel in a downtown setting, and I need your ideas for what you would like to see become available when you stay at a hotel! Please keep it serious, no "free booze" or "flair bartending midget". Thank you so much for your help!!!


Perhaps slightly larger portions, and a recipe book to include what you have in the fridge. For example, perhaps vermouth, vodka and olives for a martini. Chilled glasses would be nice. Staples like vodka, rum and whiskey would be good. Perhaps you could even get labels with the hotel logo on them for the bottles...customized alcohol would be neat. Mostly, availability to the alcohol to make mixed drinks would be best, I think. And larger portions.

Seriously, not free booze but more moderate pricing. The whole "Gouge the Guest" philosophy of the mini-bar should be rethought. Any mark-up over 5% is highway robbery.

i would love to see, a jar of green olives to munch on, mineral water instead of plain water. yogurt plain,granolla.
