What is the American equivalent of the UK's Premier Inn hotel chain?

I am looking to stay in New York later this year and was wanting to stay in a similar type of hotel to the Premier Inn hotels we have in the UK (i.e. Decent Quality and Decent Price).

Therefore, what is the US equivalent of a Premier Inn hotel?

I don't know the Premier chain, but there are a few midrange chains that usually are somewhere around $100 per night -- Holiday Inn Express has always been good for me, but Hampton Inn/Fairfield Inn/Hilton Garden Inn also works pretty well.
