How difficult is it being a Hotel Owner?

I'm considering the purchase of a hotel, and would like honest feedback from experienced people.

it's up to your quality procedures and hotel amenities.

unlike other businesses, a hotel's cashflow is dependent on its available rooms for occupancy-- which is also tied down with overnight stays. you have here a funny income ceiling on two counts, which is affected also by how people perceive the hotel's appeal as well as the service quality provided by its staff-- four negatives at this count. on the other hand, if you have modest expectations of the return on your investment, it's better than nothing. if you can obtain the hotel's financial records for the last 3 years (profit & loss, assets & liabilities), you can make a better decision on this. good luck
