What is the legal age you must be to rent a hotel room in Orlando, Florida?

A friend and I are looking to go to Walt Disney World after we graduate next year and wanted to make sure that you could be eighteen and still rent a hotel room in Orlando, Florida.

Thanks!

I had the same issue last January..We stayed on WDW property (make sure you stay on property! It is awesome! You kind of have to anyway because they have bus transportation throughout the property and you are too young to rent a car) I looked online and saw that you had to be 18 to check into any value or moderate resort, but had to be 21 to check into a deluxe. Well, we stayed at a deluxe (Animal Kingdom Lodge) and had no problems whatsoever! We were both 18 at the time. My friend paid for the room with his credit card, so he was the only one who had to show ID. If you want to double check, call the resort.

Here are some suggestions as to where you should stay:

Value Resort:

Pop Century-this is the newest and nicest value resort in my opinion, but like all values it is usually very crowded with only 1 bus stop area!

Moderate Resort:

Port Orleans French Quarter-This resort involves very little walking distance to your room-it also only has one bus stop, but it is smaller than the Pop Century/usually isn't as crowded. Plus, you can take the boat to Downtown Disney or Port Orleans Riverside!

Deluxe Resort:

Animal Kingdom Lodge was great-the atmosphere was amazing, but the bus rides were always so long. If you want to have a beautiful view of giraffes, ankole cattle, zebras, kudu, etc, book a savannah view room and stay here! I myself recommend staying at the Beach Club. It is within walking distance of Epcot's International Gateway (always less crowded-a 5 minute walk), Disney's Hollywood Studios (15 minute walk) and the Boardwalk (5 minute walk). You can also take the boat to DHS, to the to Boardwalk. If you really want to avoid the bus, you can walk through Epcot to the monorail and take that to Magic Kingdom! The only time we ever took the bus was when we went to Animal Kingdom! Have a great vacation!!!

18 is the legal age you must be so you'll be able to with no worries.

disney world is soooo awesome you'll have a great time!

have fun!!!!!!

If you know the hotel then I suggest you call or look up the hotel and ask. Some are 18 and some are 21.

There are hotels that allow 18 and some 21.

18 is fine
