Have u heard about pet renting in hotel? What do u think about this new idea?

Some people may feel lonely and miss their pet while do travelling. And we know that most hotel don't allow their guest bring pets. Based in this situation, hotel will provide pet renting. How do you think about this? Will this give more guest satisfaction?

I think it is a poorly thought out idea to make money. If the hotel is willing to rent a pet to someone, then they should be equally willing to allow people to bring their own pets into the hotel.

If I have a pet that I love and am bonded to, and the pet is bonded to me, sleeping in a room with another animal, not my own pet, is not going to make me feel any less lonely for my own pet. And having to constantly go from person to person to person can cause the animals to become confused, depressed and neurotic. And what about abuse? What happens if the person "renting" the pet is not really an animal lover, but an animal abuser? Think of the trauma for the poor animal!

No, thank you! I think more hotels and motels should cater to people who want to travel with their own pets, not place animals with a different person every night.

Um when i opened this i thought it was like when u go away leave ur pet at a hotel. But i think this is not such a good idea because you might grow to like or love the animal but than u'd have to go with or without the lil guy hideing in ur backpack

I think thats an awesome idea except for three things

1. Animals tend to bond to one person. As soon as they set their mind to bonding to someone, they will become depressed or start having anxiety disorder when the person with whom they have bonded is gone.

2. Its not fair for animals to be rented out because animals are living beings its not fair for humans to decide such a thing, basically what if a woman's husband was unavailable, what would she do call room service and say "Can you send up a rent-a-husband to my room immediately?" I don't think so.

3. Some animals don't like certain people, so what if the animal rented didn't act a thing like the pet the customer had at home? That would be ridiculous! No two people are the same there fore no two animals are the same either! It would be selfish for someone to think so!

no but the hotel of the high class it will be nice to give that pet but only when they go out the hotel to be the hotel nice and clean

I think it is a good idea. Alot of people enjoy having their pets with them. I think an additional fee of maybe $20 should be charged in case pet has an "accident." This would help towards expense of cleaning. Check the room before guests leave, and if everything is okay, return the extra $20.

?
