How much does it cost to rent a conference room at a hotel?

If I was to hold a 3 day conference at a hotel in a pretty big city like Indianapolis or Chicago how much would it cost me just for the room and set-up?

Indy would be about $1000 per day, Chicago would be $1500-$2500 depending on location. If you also have food, they will lower the room rental cost.

Costs vary greatly. Many hotels offer discounts if you are staying there. Some charge by the hour some by the day. I have paid as little as $50.00 ( for a banquet room in Hotel restaurant ) to as much as $2000.00 for a confrence room at the Hilton. My advice make a few phone calls.

I would guess about 200.00 per day. Personally, I would talk to a resturant owner in their off hours and do it there, this could save you a bundle.
