If parents check you into hotel do they have to stay?

My friends and i planning to go to the shore and we want to stay there overnight. 2 of us are 16 and the 3rd guy is 19. If my mom checks us in the hotel would we be able to stay on our own because we have someone of age?

in most cases, if there is a legal adult, then there shouldn't be an issue... especially if the parent is paying with a credit card...some hotel chains, however, require at least one adult to be 21 yrs of age, due to alcohol...(they may consider it a liability issue) i suggest calling a couple and simply asking what the age requirements are...

with that, have a safe , and fun time...
