What is the nicest hotel near the bottleneck in Lawrence, KS?

It looks to me all the hotels a run of the mill trucker hotels. Is there anything that is nicer than a 2 1/2 or 3 star hotel?

The very best hotel you can find on Mass Street is going to be the Eldridge Hotel or Ten at the Eldridge which is listed on the National Registry of Historic places. But it is expensive. Another favorite of my friends is the Halcyon House Bed and Breakfast and the Springhill Suites. Those are 3 of the best you can do.

If you just want a regular hotel, you could just check out the hotels in the city of Lawrence. One good one is the Baymont Inns and Suites and I personally love the Doubletree. Plus, there is a Quality Inn, Hampton Inn and a Holiday Inn. You should remember that Lawrence is not a very big city and so even if you stay a bit farther away from Mass Street, you will still be close.
