What is the name of a New Orleans hotel in the 1920s?

For my writing assignment I need to know what it was like to live in the 1920's specifically taken place in a New Orleans 5 star hotel, I can't find info. anywhere on any specific hotel, help please!

Rising Sun House was VERY popular and on the edge of the French Quarter. It catered to traveling men who most likely were only overnight visitors. Famed in song, as well, where the name was altered to fit the music--thus, "House of the Rising Sun".

No one knows where the name came from, but perhaps from the original owner who was believed to be the first Egyptian to settle in America and become a citizen. This was about 1830 or so and there have been four structures during that time to the 1920s, two rebuilt after bankrupcies and one after a fire.

The Rising Sun is reputed to have provided extreme pleasure to its visitors at all times and even catered to special tastes and desires. The wine list was the best in North America for decades, for example.

A number of leading famous ladies were permanent residents in semi-private quarters on the upper floors where they often held special receptions for prominent businessmen and military leaders who were passing through. It was quite the social scene to make, you see.

not sure if it's 5 star...but I'm sure you can try to find other hotels that may work on that site if it's not

You would need to research The French Quarter. Even going to New orleans Hotels should be helpful. My friend just stayed in The Saint Louis, but it's not 5 star, although it may be that old.

Stick to the French quarter would be my advice
