Suggestions for a nice and big enough hotel for a group of 12 to celebrate Christmas?

My friends and I would like to celebrate Christmas together this year and we intend to do it in a hotel where all of us could have fun and exchange gifts. Budget is below $800 per night.

This depends on what city you're staying in. In a smaller town you can get rooms at a nicer hotel for cheaper. But if you're in a large city, you may have to settle for a hotel that's not as nice.

One idea is to get a huge suite in a fancy hotel and have everyone split up the beds (usually two), the sofa and the hotel will often give you a roll away bed. Or depending on your age, everyone can camp around in the suite with sleeping bags. That would have been very fun in my twenties, but at 34 I wouldn't want to do this.
