Someone that has stayed at the GRAN CARIBE REAL resort in Cancun lately, hows the beach of the hotel?

We are planning our honeymoon and our only worry is to know if our hotel has a big extension of sand, because we´ve heard rumors that after the hurricaines, hotels in cancun dont have the same extension of sand than before, and some others dont have sand at all.

Cancun after Hurricane Wilma was rebuilt I was in the hotel you mention this very well have very good bars and restaurants, live music at night have evening shows and festivals, has a gym, a swimming pool. The beach sand is fine enough as to take a good sunbathing.

I have been checking on Cancun and the beaches all look very small, although they have been working on them, they still don't look recovered from the hurricanes. The mayan riveria looks the worst hit though.

We stood there for our honeymoon and there really isn't much sand anywhere in Cancun. The hurricanes really did a number.
