Is it possible a hotel could look dumpy from the outside yet be decent on the inside?

I want to visit some friends and found a hotel that got great reviews. Place looks old and dumpy from the outside. It's cheap and right in town.

Hotel Edison just off Times Square in NYC is like this.

Yeah, what hotel are you speaking of? That would probably help.

I work in hotels downtown, and lots of buildings are just old and dirty on the outside. The Palmer House aint too pretty on the outside but they just spend a few million renovating the inside, so yeah.

Considering that what people see first is the outside, wouldn't it seem wise for a business to focus an equal amount of attention to the exterior. Stick with a major chain.

Yes. Maybe the company didn't have enough money to fix the outside because the spent it all on the inside. Go look!

yes. many do.
