How to book a hotel for 5 adults?

I want to try to find a one or two bedroom suite in las vegas for 5 adults and 2 children, but all the hotel search engines only give you the option to search for rooms that accomodate 4 guests. Are these kinds of rooms available? How do you find them?

Look off the strip, just about all of the hotels on the strip only allow 4 people per rm, also will usually charge extra for anymore than 2 people in the room. Try Desert Paradise Resort ( on Decatur ) approx 2.5 miles from the strip, Desert Rose ( approx .25 miles from the strip) Emerald Suites on Cameron across from Orleans hotel ( 2 miles west of the strip) Or the Las Vegas Cay Club/Desert Tides Resort (on Valley View near the Rio and the Palms) all have 2 bedroom suites and the LV Cay Club has a 3 bedroom available, these properties do not charge extra for more than 2 in a room. They all have living room, kitchen and separate bedrooms. Check them out. IMO the LV Cay Club/Desert Tides Resort usually has the best deals and the best reviews that I have seen. I would call the hotels directly for the best availability.

Hope this information helps.

It would be much cheaper to book 2 rooms at a hotel that has adjoining rooms than to book a 1 or 2br suite.

LV Hotels with adjoining rooms

Orleans >very large rooms to begin with

Monte Carlo

Tropicana >Not a hotel I care for

Planet Hollywood

Bally's

Treasure Island

Main Street Station

Red Rock

NY NY

Binion's

Golden Nugget

Mirage

Excalibur

Four Queens

Stratosphere - has suites that adjoin with regular rooms

You might try this one, if you have to have a suite, it's a very nice hotel with a great location and all of the suites have kitchens.

yes they are you may have to call the hotel directly and talk to a check in manager to help you

or try this when you search try family rooms

I was going to suggest one of the Palms suites (bigger then most houses!!) but I see you are bringing children. The Palms is for sure a party place and probably not suited for kids.

That being said I might try Mandalay Bay. or as others stated calling the hotel directly.

Personally I don't think I'd bring a child to Vegas...but I've seen it so...there are some that appera more kid friendly than others.

You might want to look into the Red Rocks which is actually located several miles off the strip, but has many ameities for children...forgot about them so I recant my statement about no kids. If I was going out to Vegas to get married or whatever and NEEDED to bring my child. I'd stay @ the Red Rocks.

Do what SUE said. Call their 1-800 number and they can set it up over the phone.

Maybe you should call their 800 numbers, until you find one that will accomodate you. You should be able to find something, even if it´s a suite and an adjoining room.

If you are checking the hotels website and it isn't giving you that option it could be that they don't have availability for your dates. Tuscany suites is a decent and affordable all suite property in Vegas. You can try them. Also try calling the various hotel's reservation hotline.

All hotel rooms have fire code for the number of people who can be registered to any particular room. (By total I am referring to both adults and children regard if kids stay free.) You would be better off calling the hotel direct to book your room as the options available through third party sites i.e. Expedia, Hotels... or even through the hotels main site will be limited. They may not even have any single rooms which will allow that number of people so you may end up having to book two rooms or a family suite..
