How much should you budget for food, hotel, entertainment in Europe a day?

My Fiance and I are going to Europe in May for 46 days and I am unsure if $100 per person per day is enough for food, attractions and a hotel. Should we be higher..if so..how much higher. We will budget for a few nicer hotels and decent priced meals with eating at markets more often.

I would budget just a little more...$100 is less in Euro, and it depends on the city you're going to, but I would say $150 a day will be just fine to have a great time in Europe, some days you won't spend it all, others you'll spend more, depends where you go. have fun!

Depends on the city, $100 dollars in London won't even get you the hotel, Eastern Europe slightly cheaper though

if you are planning nicer hotels, add to your budget. You can have a great trip for $200 a day, but you will stay in decent, but not luxure hotels. Also, depends which countries and cities you are in. Spain is cheaper than France or Italy. Smaller towns in England and France are cheaper than London or paris. Spain was full of great meals for 10 Euros per person (with beer or wine, multi-courses and desert). And, i assume you are not planning on renting a car, which you don't need, go with the rail pass. And 200/day should suffice nicely.
