Can you recommend a relatively cheap hotel in Brussels?

I am looking for a relatively cheap hotel in Brussels, preferably in the city centre.

Try the Ibis St Catherine which is cheap and cheerful and reasonably close to the Grand' Place (about 15 mins walk).

In fact if you book online with Great Getaways they have a special offer on at the moment with a Eurostar upgrade. We travelled with Great Getaways to the Ibis St Catherine and found it satisfactory altho' the rooms are a bit on the small side - but you only sleep in 'em, so who needs big rooms!!

If you are going independantly you can book all Ibis Hotels online.

If you realy want cheap try the Formule 1 hotel of Brussels south. It is quit area the Bus and Tram take you to the center in no time. these are the cheapest you wil find for 43 euro a night. I don't know of clean hotel at that rate in Brussels....
