I don't have a laptop but we are going on vacation for a month, so I was thinking about bringing my computer. The hotel says they have wireless internet, and I hear Windows XP is set up automatically for that, is this true? Can I bring my computer to the hotel, plug it in, and be connected? Would I have to buy any hardware? It is a new computer.. I have googled this but all i can find out is about networks, (hooking up a whole bunch of devices) and I only want to know about a single PC. Thanks!
You would need to buy a wireless desktop card for your PC. That's all the necessary hardware you would have to have.

u have to bay a pci wireless lan adaptor & install it in ur comp
