Business management at the very least with some sort of training (not sure if there is a degree per say) in hotel management.
Probably business management and something with supervisory education as well. I guess with a degree in business you'd be able to work up in no time if you like the business and get along with people because it takes a good people person to delegate and earn peoples trust to get it all done without you having to watch everyone every second. That is the qualities of a good manager, not only having the business knowledge but the people knowledge to get what you want done without being a mean person, retaining employees and trusting them to get it done for you. Good luck. Talk to a high rated hotel or a resort and find out what their requirements are, they will tell you. Miss Mary
you are going to need a degree in business with a great deal of hotel experience, or a degree in tourism/hospitality
